Habitat handled the furnishing of this space in a home located in the Chianti region, characterized by stone walls and brick arches.
The wooden beam and brick ceiling and the large iron fixtures were the inspiration for the choice of the kitchen which is done in an “industrial” style.
The cabinets are finished in a cement look while the countertop, backsplash and sides have a corten steel effect, all paired with the anthracite fragranite sink and the black glass cooktop with cast iron grids.
The copper finish hood by Elica is a stand-out element and is enhanced by the wallpaper that covers one entire wall of the kitchen as well as the wall across from it. And it is precisely the choice of this paper, with its design of restored brick, which fits perfectly into the building’s context and brings together the entire look.
The open-sided wall shelving in burnished metal complete the kitchen and also furnish the living area. The same material can be found in the table legs and in the details of the thermo-fireplace, combined with the warmth of the brushed wood of the table and of the custom seats made by master craftsmen following the design of our team of architects.
